MESSAGE- Contact your local House Representatives and ask them to vote “No” to the Opportunity Schools District bill, which gives the state, not parents, control over poor performing schools. This has been tried in other states and it didn’t work. Instead ask lawmakers to give students what they really need like academic intervention programs, tutors and social workers, and after-school enrichment programs.
