A man shot in the back seven times can’t be justified and neither can a man beaten to death in police custody. But one listener on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” believes it is.
“These are the people causing everything,” the caller said referring to black people and police brutality. Activist DeRay McKeeson joined the conversation in response to the caller. “When we blame black people for being black, we’re participating in our own oppression,” said McKeeson.
