NBA Hall of Famer and three-time MVP Moses Malone passed away early Sunday morning at the age of 60.

The legendary baller was found in his hotel room early this morning and though no cause of death has been confirmed, close friends say he’s had heart issues in the past.

During his career, Malone was named one of the league’s 50 greatest players and became the Finals MVP in 1983, when he led the Philadelphia 76ers to the championship. Malone was the first player to go pro straight out of high school, when he signed with the Utah Stars of the American Basketball Association in 1974.

Malone was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Moses.
