SUPERFOOD SIDE

Source: TQ Review/ TQ

One of America’s favorite restaurants Chick-fil-A recently replaced menu side item coleslaw with the Superfood Side and I had to try it since I am trying to make healthier food choices.

The Superfood Side has Broccolini®, kale, maple vinaigrette dressing (maple syrup, soybean oil, water, brown sugar, onion ([including dehydrated], distilled vinegar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce [water, soybeans, salt, alcohol], balsamic vinegar, salt, spice, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate added as preservatives, maltodextrin, dextrose, canola oil, yeast extract, natural flavor, calcium disodium EDTA to protect flavor), dried cherries (cherries, sugar, sunflower oil), roasted nut blend (glazed walnuts [walnuts, sugar, natural flavor, canola oil], roasted almonds, glazed pecans [pecans, sugar, natural flavor, canola oil]).

Well, I ordered the 5 ounce bowl because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, which cost me about $3.  My bowl seemed to have been missing a few ingredients (photo above), Where are the roasted almonds and glazed pecans?  I have to admit that the Superfood Side was a tasty treat to my taste buds.
