Recently, the RIAA received major backlash for how the Recording Industry counts streams towards artists’ sales. For the first time ever, the major industry was forced to change its rules and make way for new adjustments. Thanks to modern-day Internet, many of our favorite artists will now be able to count streams towards their album sales. Some of the new album certifications include:
