Dave East has been one of the hardest working “new” rappers in the game. If it seems like he’s been everywhere since the year has started, it’s because he has. His ever growing list of features includes Raekwon the Chef, Papoose, and most recently, Fabolous. As Dave begins to create the building blocks for his legend, he’s been hitting all the right notes as he manages to keep that “New York” sound without being stuck in the fog of nostaglia.

Dave’s newest track, “Money,” has all the things listeners have come to expect from him. Primarily, his hard hitting lyrics backed by an obvious East Coast sound he’s making his own. Production duties are handled by Buda and Grandz. “Money” is let loose right before Dave is scheduled to hit the streets for his “Hate Me Now” tour which kicks off next week on the 11th in Philadelphia.

The city of Atlanta is represented strongly with this brand new joint from Monica and Jeezy. The song is available now on iTunes and is a remix from a song located on Monica’s album, Code Red, which released back in December.

Speaking of Atlanta, Dave Chappelle recently posted a photo of himself a few other major celebrities in the studio with Andre 3000. The caption reads,  “Me, Dave, D-nice, Jack White and Jarobi hard at work on the new Andre 3000 album.” Dave is a professional comedian so of course, expect that this might in fact be a very cruel joke. Since Outkast split, fans have been clamoring for a new album from “Three Stacks” and the most they’ve gotten in return is a very half-hearted “I’d like to put out some kind of music project” from the emcee.

When Chris Brown isn’t being a hazard to himself, others, or his social media account, he’s capable of making some great music. Backed by an all-star cast of talent that includes Miguel, Trey Songz, and August Alsina, the track is likely going to be a favorite for midnight “adult” trips. This is a remix from the song located on the Royalty album, the first version featuring Zayn and Usher. There’s a rumored third song that’s allegedly going to feature Tank and Tyrese.

Chance the Rapper has been having a hell of a year. After getting top billing on Kanye’s last album, he released a visual for “Angels” featuring Saba. This is the same song he performed on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
