Former President Obama and his wife, Michelle inked one of the most lucrative deals to date for their memoirs, worth up to $65 million dollars.
Both Obama and Michelle are already published authors, earning over a million dollars in combined sales for “Dreams from My Father”, “The Audacity of Hope”, and “American Grown”.
“We are absolutely thrilled to continue our publishing partnership with President and Mrs. Obama,” Penguin Random House CEO Markus Dohle said in a statement announcing the deal. “With their words and their leadership, they changed the world, and every day, with the books we publish at Penguin Random House, we strive to do the same.”
The book will be published globally and does not have a set release date.
