Early Tuesday morning, much of the Internet was left in shambles when Facebook went down for a ton of users.
The social media site went offline, along with Instagram, after having a similar problem over a week ago, according to USA Today.
FB users were beginning to question their allegiance to the site, while Twitter users were enjoying the show.
Most people have their preferred forms of social media and when it comes to Facebook, there are five groups in particular whose world was shook when Facebook decided to stop working.

The Soapbox Activist
When it comes to pushing our society forward, activists are indispensable. They challenge us, they spark social movements and if they’re for the people, they envision a better world for the future.
But sometimes, we like to read about these visions in 280 characters or less. Give the wrong activist the word space and they’ll write their whole dissertation in one Facebook post. Yes we care about Black Lives, women’s rights and the complexities of our current political climate…
But sometimes we need a break.
But hey, activists will be activists. There’s already limited ways people can get their sentiments out there, especially considering media biases. So I guess we should stop complaining right?
Pull the plug on Facebook, and deep thinkers will have to settle for mile long Twitter threads.
Your Nosy Older Family Members
Let’s face it.
Auntie Mae and Grandma Ruth probably aren’t on Twitter, but you better believe they’re keeping tabs on you on Facebook. Say or post the wrong thing and they’ll swiftly send you an obscure bible verse or a passive aggressive message questioning your well-being. Since you don’t ever pick up the phone to call them, how else are they going to know about your life?
With a FB shutdown, they’ll once again be left in the dark.
Anyone Who Watches Red Table Talk
Sure there are other things people check out on Facebook Watch (I guess), but what else are we going to tune into to get our daily tear-stained motivation?
Now that Oprah‘s off the air, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Gam (Adrienne Banfield-Jones), and Willow are the only ones left to tell us about ourselves in a therapeutic talk-show kind of way.

Anyone Selling Anything Or Trying To Get Money
If you’re about to drop that new mixtape or fundraise for that masterpiece film you’re making, any form of social media is crucial for you.
While Twitter and Instagram might get your message out to a bigger audience, Facebook can be used to hound that friend who said they’ll always have your back if you needed something.
Time for them to put their money where their mouth is.

Anyone Who’s Horrible With Dates
If it wasn’t for Facebook, some of us would never remember our BFF’s birthday, or our Grandma Ruth’s for that matter. The app can definitely save you from a lot of passive aggressive texts or cold shoulders because you forgot someone’s birthday.
And as for that event someone told you about three weeks ago?
Ima need them to make it a Facebook event, or else the memory of such a function will be lost in the wind.
