Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, is facing disturbing allegations in a high-profile sex trafficking trial that has sent shockwaves through the entertainment world. As the proceedings unfold, several prominent figures have taken the witness stand, providing powerful and sometimes unsettling testimonies. From the mogul’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, to former Bad Boy artist, Dawn Richard, these high-profile figures are breaking their silence against the disgraced mogul.

Combs is facing charges of racketeering, conspiracy, coercion, sex trafficking and prostitution. He could face up to life in prison if convicted. Here’s a breakdown of the celebrities who have testified so far and what they’ve shared with the court.

Cassie Ventura, the singer and former longtime girlfriend of Combs, gave an emotional and harrowing testimony on May 13 during the second day of the trial. She spent nearly four and a half hours on the stand, detailing years of alleged abuse during her relationship with Combs.

Ventura, 38, described being forced to participate in Combs’ infamous “freak-off” parties—private, sexually exploitative gatherings where, she claimed, she and other women were manipulated or coerced through drugs, intimidation, and violence. She said Combs exerted full control over her life, even dictating her movements and interactions.

“I felt pretty horrible about myself. I felt disgusting. I felt humiliated,” the singer told the courtroom on May 13, according to NewsOne. “I didn’t have the words to show how horrible I felt. I couldn’t talk to anyone about it.”

Ventura claimed that taking drugs during these encounters became a way to emotionally detach from the trauma, and testified that she feared for her life if she refused to comply. Cassie also recounted chilling details, including being forced into sexual acts during her menstrual cycle and one incident where, at Combs’ request, an escort urinated on her.

On May 20, Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura, took the stand to corroborate her daughter’s testimony. She confirmed receiving a distressing email from Cassie in December 2011 detailing Combs’ threats after he learned she had been dating rapper Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), according to NBC News. Combs allegedly threatened to release explicit videos of Ventura after he learned the relationship.

According to Regina, Combs demanded $20,000 in reimbursement for money he claimed to have spent on Cassie. Fearing for her daughter’s safety, she and her husband took out a home equity loan to pay him. She testified that she wired the money following instructions from Combs’ bookkeeper, though the funds were returned within a week without explanation.

She also shared that Cassie confided in her about physical abuse for the first time during that same period. Regina testified that she took photos—shown to the jury—of bruises on Cassie’s body.

Combs’ defense team did not cross-examine her.

Singer Dawn Richard, formerly of the girl group Danity Kane, and later a member of Diddy-Dirty Money, testified on May 19. She told the court she witnessed Combs violently attack Ventura in 2009, using a skillet filled with eggs.

Richard’s testimony corroborates the singer’s account and appears to support the prosecution’s portrayal of Combs as violent and abusive—not just in private, but in front of others. According to the prosecution, Combs operated less like a celebrity and more like the head of a “criminal enterprise.”

Mescudi is expected to testify on May 22, CNN reported. As previously noted, Ventura alleged that Combs threatened to release explicit videos and have both her and Cudi physically harmed after he learned of their relationship. Her mother testified to receiving the email, where she documented these threats. Mescudi’s testimony is anticipated to further confirm these allegations.
