The R&B titans put on a show for lovers of the culture without all the extra ish talking that typically goes on during the popular competition. They let their catalogs speak for them. While social media declared Joe the winner, we had a blast watching both entertainers get their well deserved flowers.

Donell Jones stepped on the Verzuz stage in this stylish double breasted white suit and fedora hat with red under the brim. Some fans questioned if he was wearing a faja, but we’ll just take it as a compliment that he looked good. Joe looked dapped in a red suit and cane.

It can be argued Joe secured the win against Donell when he brought out 50 Cent and G-Unit to perform “Wanna Get To Know Ya.” But the crowd erupted when they performed ‘Big Rich Town.’ Could 50 and G-Unit be planning their own Verzuz?

Pen Games Unmatched

One thing is for sure, both men have incredible pen games. Joe reminded us some songs he is credited when he performed “Missing You.” And Donell gave it right back to him when he brought out 702 to perform “Get It Together.”
