Despite tons of leaks, Usher’s latest album, Raymond V Raymond takes the number one spot on this Friday’s issue of Billboard Magazine.
The Atlanta singer was a shoo-in for that number one spot with close to 350,000 copies of the album sold. Justin Bieber, who is signed to Usher’s Raymond-Braun Music Group, rests comfortably in the number two slot with just over 292,000 copies sold of My World 2.0.
Erykah Badu reaped the benefits of the controversy surrounding her “Window Seat” video as her brand new album, New Amerykah Part 2: Return Of The Ankh, debuts at number 4, selling over 112,000 copies.
Method Man, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon’s Wu-Massacre debuts at number 12 with over 39,000 copies sold.
