The 2016 ESPYS are over, but the show was full of heart-wrenching and hilarious moments. In between the stories of tragedy and triumph were the awards given to the sports elite.

A year ago we never could've imagined the NBA without the legendary Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan. Now, as both have touched the hardwood for the last time, Duncan's career-long coach has offered some kind words to the 19-year vet.

Tim Duncan has decided to retire. After playing 19 years in the NBA and winning five rings, he's decided to hang up his jersey. The 40-year-old announced the news in a press release through the San Antonio Spurs.

On Saturday at the NBA star's training camp, a video was released of Westbrook playing a 7th grader named Kyle in a game of one-on-one, and surprisingly the kid won.

What a difference four years have made for Kyrie Irving and Kobe Bryant. During Team USA's race for gold during the 2012 Summer Olympics, Kyrie was just a bright-eyed youngin' trying to make his way in the league. In an effort to prove himself, he challenged Kobe to a game of one-on-one. To make the deal even sweeter, Kyrie, then 20, wanted to play for $50,000.
