Kim Kardashian jetted off to Australia just days after announcing her divorce from Kris Humphries. With sister Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom in tow, Kim, who usually hams it up for the cameras, made sure to look sad and uninterested on the red carpet.
While there, she granted her first-post split interview with the “Kyle and Jackie O Show” saying:
“I mean, you know, [I’m] in a tough situation. I think I’m trying to do the best I can, and it’s actually a bit of an escape to come here. I don’t think I’m ready to go into, you know, the details of what went on in my marriage. But I do want to make clear that I would never marry for a TV show, for money, for anything like that. I think that’s really ridiculous that I have to even defend that. I guess, you know, that comes along with when you film your wedding for a reality show.”
The sisters were in town to launch their Kardashian Kollection Australian handbag line in Sydney and later in the week, Kim will hit the final day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival solo when Khloe heads back home.
