Ja Rule must appear in court in August, where he will stand trial for a firearm violation in New York. The rapper was arrested in July of 2007 after a performance at the Beacon Theater, the same venue that Lil Wayne was arrested outside of. Wayne's gun charge from that incident is what eventually sent the rapper to Rikers Island.
