Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Wyclef Jean, Bono and The Edge and will lead the all-star lineup of performers for Friday night's "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" telethon.

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are putting together a re-recording of the 1985 charity single, "We Are The World." Plans for the 25th anniversary re-recording were already underway when an earthquake devastated Haiti on January 12th. The remake will support relief efforts in Haiti.

Oprah has called on Rihanna to take part in her show dedicated to Haiti. The singer will perform on Wednesday’s show and will be joined by Wyclef Jean and Maxwell, whose mother is Haitian.

Nearly a week after the devastating earthquake struck near Haiti's capital, donations for relief efforts are still pouring in -- in excess of $200 million. Charities, companies, individuals and celebrities across the U.S. have been rallying together in the aftermath of the 7.0-magnitude quake last Tuesday, and their efforts are paying off.
