Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am made headlines recently when he said he did not support the posthumous Michael Jackson album, Michael.
TMZ reported that Atlanta singer/songwriter Ne-Yo not only felt the same way, but was even urging people to boycott the album.
Ne-Yo, back in Atlanta for the holidays, stopped by Hot 107.9 to clear up the rumors. He also talked about his newborn daughter, Madeline, and whether or not he’ll ever release a Christmas album.
“The album wouldn’t have been put out yet if Mike was still alive, in my personal opinion,” said Ne-Yo. “It wasn’t finished. But with that being said, let me clear the air. I am not boycotting this album. Ne-Yo did not say don’t go get the Michael Jackson album. TMZ, c’mon man! What y’all doing?”
