Usher has been added to the line-up of Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show, according to the Associated Press. He joins the previously-announced Black Eyed Peas, as well as fellow newcomer Slash.

We’re not sure what the group of five will perform, but Usher and will.i.am did create one of the biggest hits of 2010 with “OMG,” and Slash (surprisingly enough) has joined B.E.P. on tour before. He also collaborated with Fergie on the song “Beautiful Dangerous.”

This is the most “urban” we’ve seen the halftime show in awhile, considering former acts included U2, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney.
