Cobb County police have charged a Powder Springs woman with sending death threats to Atlanta rapper Yung Teddy (real name Justin Mitchell), who was shot and killed last week in his Austell home shortly after receiving the death threats on this Twitter page.

Yung Teddy’s murder remains under investigation, but authorities say it was Yachari Kiyana Miller who allegedly sent messages to the slain rapper, saying, “You a dead man walking” and “This your year to die” just 24 hours before he was killed.

Miller is charged with one felony count of terroristic threats. She’s been held without bond in the Cobb County Detention Center since Friday.

There were reportedly witnesses to the shooting and police continue to look for two suspects. Anyone with information about the case should call Cobb County police at 770-499-3945.
