According to TMZ, The New England Patriots do not want little kids wearing Aaron Hernandez Jersey’s and they are willing to shell out money to see to it that kids are wearing or supporting other Patriots players. So much so, they are sponsoring a buy back program for the jerseys in question!

So on July 6th or 7th if you bring in a Hernandez Jersey to the team’s pro shop at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass, you will get a brand spankin new Patriots Jersey for FREE!

Says a team spokesperson,

“We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys, but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore.”

Wow! They are not playing around in that front office. They are going to erase his existence from that team if it’s the last thing they do! But it’s pretty cool that they are willing to buy the kids jerseys back. The move serves everyone pretty well. Everyone except Hernandez that is…ouch!
