Questions about the case remain unanswered to this day.

Did the alleged party at the Manoogian mansion while Kwame Kilpatrick was Detroit’s mayor ever really take place?

More than a decade later, one of the central figures in the downfall of Kilpatrick, exotic dancer Tamara Greene, is the focus of a stage play written and produced by Carol Teegardin, a former reporter and columnist for the Detroit News and Free Press.

The play, entitled “Strawberry,” is adapted from Teegardin’s book on the life and death of Greene, who was murdered in a drive by shooting outside on April 30, 2003.

The play will be staged at the Marygrove College Theatre  on Sept. 25, 26, 27 and Oct. 2, 3, and 4. Auditions will he held in July … click here for more details.
