Last night, the city of Charleston, South Carolina faced a horrific tragedy, as nine lives were lost in AME church after 21-year-old Dylan Roof opened fired during Bible study.

The investigation is ongoing, the gunman is in custody, and many are searching for real answers as to what triggered the brutal attack.

As names and identities of the victims have been released, more evidence is coming forward, that is certainly quite cryptic. One of the victims, Tywanza Sanders, apparently posted to Snapchat just moments before Roof opened fire, which was obtained by Mashable.

A full list of all nine victims in the shooting, which includes three men and six women, has also gone viral, which includes church workers, attendees, a pastor, a retired government employee, recent college graduates, and state senator.

At this time, vigils are being held across the nation in honor of the victims that were lost in the massacre, while President Obama gave a moving speech earlier today during a press conference.

He remarked during his statement:

“To say our thoughts and prayers are with [the victims] and their families and their community doesn’t say enough to convey the heartache and the sadness and the anger that we feel,” the president said, speaking from the Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House. “There’s something particularly heartbreaking about a death happening in a place in which we seek solace and we seek peace, in a place of worship.”

We will keep you updated with the latest details on the Charleston AME massacre.
