The City of Atlanta Office of Constituent Services and Department of Parks and Recreation has decided, in light of current bitterly cold temperatures, that the Old Adamsville Recreation Center will open tonight, December 9, at 5:30 p.m. as an emergency shelter for those in need.
Capacity limitations at Old Adamsville allows for 100 individuals (men, women and children), to occupy the facility.
