When BET announced that they would be releasing a 3-part biopic on one of the top R&B acts, New Edition, fans were ecstatic. No one would have ever predicted that the film would earn $28.4 million views its first week on television.

It is rumored that there may be a part 2 of the biopic as group members stated that filming stopped in the year 2005 and there are plenty more stories to tell.
