GBI investigating police involved shooting near the Georgia Dome
The GBI are investigating whether or not a Atlanta police officer directing traffic was justified in shooting a man near the Georgia Dome this past weekend. The 46 year old driver from North Carolina has just left a motocross event at the dome this past Saturday night, no weapons were found in his vehicle. The driver is in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.

The family of Deaundre Philips want justice
The family members in the police involved shooting of Deaundre Philips want answers, because the video released February 25, prove that the officer had no reason to fear for his life. Officer Yasin Abdulahad reported that he had to shoot Deaundre Philips because he feared for his life, when Philips drove off with the officer hanging outside the vehicle, but family attorney Chris Stewart suggests the video displays that the door in question was completely shut, the family wants justice.
