Alice And Olivia Will Show You How To Update Your Natural Nails

alice + olivia’s Spring/Summer 2020 presentation was a bright and bold world. Whether it was a field of lavender dreams or an orange dream of pop colors, we entered the fashion dreamscape of Stacey Bendet. The fashion designer stated, “When the colors are tight in a space, you exhale and tune into your own interior. I dream in color and these rooms are fashion dreams come to life.”

The Lead Manicurist for KISS Products, Inc. Gina Edwards created nail looks inspired by the collection. She shared, “I instantly felt transported to a dream land while creating looks for alice + olivia’s Spring 2020 Collection. I wanted to celebrate the fantasy feel of the collection with a fresh, whimsical take on classic nails.”

The nails were undoubtedly a French manicure in more of a modern day style. Edwards explained, “We really wanted to update the french because we know it’s trending once again ladies. We outlined the edges and we did a reverse french to make it feel fresh and updated.”

PEARL FANTASY

There’s still a way to bring bling to a natural look and these pearl accents are it. Pearls have been spotted on the runway at NYFW so of course it’s time to take it to your nails!

Step 1:

Select your correct size nail of KISS Salon Acrylic French Nude in Sensibility ($7.99, ulta.com) for each finger and set aside. Do not just start doing your nails. You want to plan this out so everything is sure to fit!

Step 2:

Use KISS Brush On Nail Glue ($2.99, KISSusa.com) to paint the tip of each nail. This will help the pearl embellishments stick.

Step 3: 

Use tweezers to place the pearls and stones on the tips of the nails.

Voila! You have the look!

REVERSE FRENCH

Step 1:

Select the correct size nails for each nail in KISS Glam Fantasy in Higher Love ($6.30, KISSusa.com).

Step 2: 

Use KISS Nail Art Paint  ($6.99, KISSusa.com) to paint a half moon at the base of the nail.

Step 3:

Using the same nail paint, outline the edges of the nail, creating a border.
