ATLANTA – Atlanta police have detained a man in the shooting death of Spelman co-ed Jasmine Lynn.
Lynn was killed by a stray bullet on the Clark-Atlanta University campus.
Police said the bullet was fired during a dispute between two groups of young men.
The fatal shot struck Lynn in the chest. A second student was hit in the wrist.
Police have issued a murder warrant for the suspect and he is in custody and on the way to police headquarters.
