Atlanta/North Georgia School Closings Ahead Of Winter Storm

A winter storm watch is currently in effect, starting Friday morning (Jan. 10) through early Saturday morning. A total of 46 counties, including those in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, fall under this watch as a mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow is expected to hit parts of north Georgia.

Ahead of the inclement weather, several school districts are weighing their options for Friday. Here is a listing of school closings in the area.
