Rapper A$AP Rocky was arrested in New York City last night after allegedly beating up two photographers who took pictures of him.
New York City police officers are saying A$AP Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) got into a verbal sparring match with someone in downtown Manhattan. While Rocky was in the midst of the argument, he noticed two people snapping photos of the incident. Reports say A$AP and his friend turned their aggression toward the people taking pictures of the heated argument and a full-fledged brawl popped off.
The two victims suffered cuts and bruises. One had to be taken to the hospital to treat their injuries.
A$AP Rocky was arrested and booked on charges of attempted robbery. Though it’s unclear exactly what A$AP was trying to steal, we think he might have been trying to steal whatever gadget the two photographers were snapping photos with.
