So much for that Hot Boys reunion. Former Hot Boys member B.G. (Baby Gangsta) has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for gun possession and witness tampering.

The 31-year-old rapper (real name Christopher Dorsey) appeared in federal court in New Orleans today after previously pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a gun during a 2009 traffic stop in eastern New Orleans.

According to Nola.com, officials say B.G. later obstructed justice by convincing one of his associates to falsely claim ownership of the pistol. B.G. already had 3 felony drug convictions on his record. No word on when the rapper will begin his sentence.

B.G.’s most recent album, “Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood,” came out in 2009 on Atlantic Records. The New Orleans native is also credited for coining the term “Bling” with his song “Bling Bling.”

Another former Hot Boys rapper, Turk, is scheduled to be released from prison this fall.
