Young Money leader Lil Wayne made it clear in a past interview with Katie Couric that he lives by his own rules. Weezy reiterated this fact in a recent taped deposition where the rapper threatened a lawyer questioning him in front of a judge.

Despite having gone to prison for carrying a concealed weapon, an irritated Weezy claims he doesn’t even remember the arrest or serving time in the deposition.

Weezy was being questioned by the attorney of Quincy Jones III. Wayne is suing Jones over a documentary Jones made about the New Orleans rapper. Apparently, Wayne allowed Quincy Jones III and a camera crew to follow him around as he made Tha Carter III. Everything was good until Weezy saw a version of the film and took issue with the way he was portrayed.

During the deposition, Jones lawyer Pete Ross asks Weezy questions about his criminal past and his image in the media. Lil Wayne started telling the attorney, “You know he can’t save you.” The “he” Wayne was referring to was the judge that sat in on the deposition and said nothing to Wayne about his threats.

The attorney responded to Weezy by asking, “Is that a threat?”
