The Lingerie Football Leagueis coming to Atlanta. Nearly 4,300 votes were submitted to name Atlanta’s expansion team in the league, and the name chosen is the Atlanta Steam.
The team will play its home games at Gwinnett Center and will join the Jacksonville Breeze and Omaha Heart in the league’s Southeastern Division of the Eastern Conference.
The team’s roster has yet to be filled but a tryout will be held Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. at Score Indoor on Oakley Industrial Boulevard in Fairburn. Those hoping to make the team should arrive an hour early, dressed in athletic gym attire.
