It’s looking like it isn’t all love and hip-hop for Atlanta rapper and reality star Lil Scrappy. His paychecks from the hit VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta are being garnished to pay back a booking agency Scrappy used to work with.
As the story goes, Lil Scrappy was sued in 2010 by Heavy Rotation booking agency for $72,218.68. According to the company, they have yet to see any money from Scrappy. Since 2010, the original sum has swelled to a staggering $108,510.38 due to attorney fees and interest. Heavy Rotation is no longer content with waiting patiently for their money and requested that a Georgia judge begin garnishing Lil Scrappy’s pay checks from VH1 until the debt is paid off.
Lil Scrappy ran into other financial trouble in 2010 when he and his then girlfriend Diamond were having trouble paying the rent on their Atlanta home. Hopefully, those Love & Hip Hop Atlanta checks keep rolling in or we have a feeling we might be reporting something like this about Scrappy again.
