Family members of Freeband Double D are offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the capture of his killer or killers.
As we previously reported, Double D (real name James D. Lewiel) was shot and killed last week while driving a $400,000 Maybach along I-20. He’s affiliated with Future, Rocko and Rick Ross.
Double D’s family has no idea who killed him.

Witnesses reported seeing a white SUV fleeing the crime scene. According to the AJC, Double D visited South DeKalb Mall twice on Thursday, dropping his brother off at his mother’s house just a few hours before the shooting. He leaves behind two sons and a daughter.
His funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Life Church in Decatur, with burial at Kennedy Memorial Gardens in Ellenwood. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, located at 3592 Flat Shoals Parkway.
