Meet REEC (pronounced REESE), Former Midday Personality on ATL's number #1 Hip Hop Station Hot 107.9FM.
Monday - Saturday between 10am -2pm, Reec reached millions daily with his #1 rated radio show & he was recently featured on TvOnes's reality show titled Rickey Smiley For Real for 4 seasons. He was also featured on FOX's hit show STAR.
Reec currently travels and host (MC) several RedBull initiatives including their Soap Box Derby, Midnight Run, King of The Rock and 3x3 USA Basketball events. He works with Showtime, PPV, HBO, Fox Sports & Espn to cover, promote and supply social media engagement and production for several championship fights over the past 4 years and counting.
Since 2008 Reec has been the face of the non profit organization, Positive American Youth, Inc (www.PayUsa.org). PAYUSA has served the community with free turkey distributions, annual toy give away events, annual celebrity basketball games, free BBQ Events and many school events. Most recently Reec and PAYUSA have supplied an average of 3,000 families monthly, with free groceries in a non contact - drive through food distributions.
He is also endorsing several brands including Wal-Mart Family Mobile, Murray's Pomade Company, John Foy & Associates, Chevy Equinox and Office Depot and Nissan.

This past weekend Reec & The Hotshots took on Shawty Lo, Johnnie Cabbell and friends in a Celebrity Benefit Game. The game was a climactic finish to the 11th annual King of Hoops Basketball Tournament in which Atlanta’s own TEAM VIP, Coached by Hot 107.9 Hotshots Assistant Coach A.B. Barnes, won the championship and took home an impressive 6 foot Trophy.
The real winners where the children of the Bankhead community. Partial proceeds went to purchase school supplies for those in need. Hurricane Dave Smith (OM, Radio One) was also homered with the coveted King of Community Award Presented by PAYUSA, for his work with youth financial literacy.
The celebrity game was riddled with appearances from stars such as Stevie J, Fabo, Roscoe Dash, DJ Kut Throat, D4L, current and legendary NBA players and more. Keep listening to Hot 107.9 to catch the next Hotshots Celebrity game!
