Many people are impatiently waiting for season 2 of FOX’s hit show Empire. The first season saw so much success that people are wondering what’s in store when it returns to television this fall. Director Lee Daniels and the folks over at FOX recently unveiled the trailer for the show’s new season. The teaser features the theme “New Music, New Money, New Power, New Empire,” and gives us a sneak-peek into what will happen over the next 18 episodes. Bobbi Kristina Brown’s House Cleaned Out by Her Aunt
As Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in hospice care, there are many signs that her condition is declining. Just days after a hearse was spotted outside of the facility, her aunt Pat Houston cleaned out the 22-year-old’s Georgia townhouse where she was found unresponsive in a bathtub earlier this year. According to reports, Houston reportedly kept all of Whitney’s plaques and threw everything else out. Bobbi Kristina was moved to the hospice center in Duluth, Georgia a month ago. “She is in God’s hands now,” said Pat Houston. Read more.
Bill Cosby’s Legal Team Building Their Defense
Comedian Bill Cosby’s legal team has publicly spoken out for the first time in his defense. Earlier this week, lawyer Monique Pressley claimed that although he admitted to giving drugs to women in order to have sex with them in a legal deposition 10 years ago, he did not admit to committing any crime. She also claimed that the media has contributed to the defamation of Cosby. “There has been a good deal of confusion, and perhaps a better word would be misrepresentation, regarding the deposition testimony which has been filtering out in excerpt form,” said Pressley. “There is no criminal conduct here. Nothing within the deposition moves the ball forward for those people accusing Mr. Cosby of criminal activity.” The team is said to be working hard to combat the reports. Read more.
