T.I.'s request to serve his 11-month prison sentence in Georgia has been denied. Federal authorities have reportedly ordered the Atlanta rapper to report directly to a federal prison in Arkansas by November 1.

New Orleans rapper Mystikal has been making the rounds since his release from prison in January after serving six years. Mystikal was in Atlanta recently and dropped by the Hot 107.9 studios to give us some insight on what he's working on. He said that while he has yet to sign a record deal with anyone, several companies are interested.

Atlanta's own T.I. appeared on Hot 107.9's Rickey Smiley Show and spoke for the first time since being sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his probation. T.I. announced that his delayed album "King Uncaged" will now be called "No Mercy." He also discussed his list of favorite MCs.

A new set of court documents were filed in an attempt to keep T.I. out of jail by putting him into rehab instead, but T.I. has no idea who is behind the filing.

Lil Wayne will be out of Rikers Island in less than a month, and the rapper will certainly celebrate his latest album, "I Am Not A Human Being," reaching number one in its first week out. Weezy's latest video, "I Don't Like The Look Of It" comes from Human Being and features Young Money rapper Gudda Gudda.

Hot 107.9 was at the Richard B. Russell Federal Courthouse today where T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his parole as a result of his drug arrest in L.A. "I screwed up," said the ATL rapper.

Prison time for T.I. seems to be inevitable, although prosecutors and defense lawyers representing the rap star are arguing in court over how much time he should spend in jail for violating his probation.

Despite recently being put in solitary confinement, Lil Wayne managed to get a tweet out to his fans asking them not to send him anymore letters while he's in prison.

Lil Wayne will serve the rest of his prison sentence at Rikers Island in solitary confinement. Weezy, who was already in a private cell, was sent to solitary confinement after guards discovered several months ago that he was hiding a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player in his cell.
