Meet 35 year-old Chamique Holdsclaw.

Holdsclaw, a former WNBA basketball star, who once played for the Atlanta Dream, turned herself in (November 15, 2012) after a dispute with her ex-girlfriend made a violent turn for the worse.

The victim, Jennifer Lacy, 29,

who described herself as Holdsclaw’s former girlfriend, told authorities she was working out at a church on Ponce de Leon Avenue on Tuesday when Holdsclaw approached her and said she wanted to put some items in Lacy’s car.

According to an incident report, as Lacy drove from the church she smelled gasoline inside her vehicle and noticed that Holdsclaw was following her.

Scared and confused, Lacy then drove to a friend’s home on Hemphill Avenue, at which time Holdsclaw got out of her car with a baseball bat and began smashing the windows in Lacy’s Range Rover.

According to AJC, Hordsclaw, surrendered to authorities Thursday and was booked into the Fulton County jail shortly before 9 p.m., according to jail records.

As of the time of this post, Hordsclaw remains jailed on $10,000 bond.

She is currently facing charges of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.

Lacy posted a statement early this morning regarding the incident via her twitter, stating:
