Lil Boosie is still locked up at Angola State Prison in Louisiana, but things aren’t all bad for the Baton Rouge rapper. He just completed his GED course at the prison.

As we previously reported, Boosie’s currently serving an 8-year-sentence on drug charges but could be paroled as early as 2014. He was found not guilty of murder in a separate case last May.

Members of Lil Boosie’s (born Torence Hatch) family attended the cap-and-gown GED ceremony at the prison.

Congrats to Boosie!
