Shots Fired at U.S. Capitol

Gunfire erupted Thursday near the U.S. Capitol. The shooting led to an emergency lock down of Congress, which has since been lifted. Police also closed Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House.
House and Senate sessions were immediately suspended.
