A Target store in Campbell, California played porn over the intercom on a Wednesday morning. Hearing a manager over the loud speaker asking where an employee is, which is usually the result of a 30 minute smoke break, is normal, but this is just weird.
Target shopper Gina Young filmed the mishap while shopping with her two young sons. She was only able to capture 30 seconds of the odd soundtrack, but claims it went on for over 5 minutes before finally being stopped… only to come back on minutes later.
The employees ran all around the store picking up and hanging up the stores phones. People threw their things down and walked out, others yelled at Target employees, some laughed, others were disgusted,” she wrote in the description on Youtube.
Mashable reached out to Target by email and were met with a response from spokesperson Molly Snyder, saying: “We are actively reviewing the situation with the team to better understand what happened and to help ensure this doesn’t happen again,” Snyder continues, “Because this is an active investigation, I’m unable to share additional details, but we want our guests to know that we take this very seriously.
The kids in the video certainly seem preoccupied, with determining when to ask their mother if they can eat the barely-thawed frozen pizza.
