Last month, Converse introduced the Converse Modern collection with the All Star Modern sneaker. Today, Converse announces the launch of the next addition to the Converse Modern family – the Converse Auckland Modern.
The Auckland Modern is a new silhouette inspired by Converse’s rich legacy in running innovation – rooted in the brand’s partnerships with elite athletes and coaches during the 1970s and ‘80s. The Converse Auckland Modern collection features a split knit upper for lightweight comfort and a secure fit, in addition to Nike Hyperfuse construction for durability and support. The sneaker is underpinned by a Phylon outsole for lightweight cushioning and comfort with flex grooves for mobility. Each of these aspects provides updates for today’s active lifestyle consumer, while still recognizing Converse’s rich heritage in sports.
