We sat down with Sherro for an interview to find out how he made it out of three life sentences to jump back into the rap game.

WOTSN: What sets you apart from all of the other indie artists out here?

SHERRO: What separates me from other artist musically is my creative sound, I believe that lyrics must mesh well with the music, rather that be using sound effects to fill in space or ad-libs to brand a sound. There’s no way a person can listen to my music and not smile or feel good. What separates me as a person is, I always had to learn the hard way when it came to life lessons, as far as losing my freedom for living a reckless lifestyle to losing a football scholarship. I feel I can share my experiences to hopefully help someone in a positive manner.
