Last night, upcoming New Orleans artist, BTY Youngn was gunned down in his hometown at a local gas station.
BTY Youngn had been pursuing his music career since the age of 13 but often battled legal issues which hindered his career. Just last year, Youngn’s life seemed to be getting back on track as he received the “Breakout Artist of the Year” award at the NOLA Music Awards and announced that he signed with Rich Gang and Cash Money Records.
BTY Youngn was only 27 years old and leaves behind a newborn son.
