Ciara's been causing a lot of controversy lately with her video for her latest single "Ride" featuring Ludacris. The video's suggestive dancing from the Atlanta singer has been causing quite a stir, with BET refusing to air it. As we previously reported, Atlanta’s own Monica sang the National Anthem at Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Boston Tuesday night. “I was so nervous but all the encouragement from u guys helped a ton,” Monica said via her Twitter account.

At last night's VH1 Hip-Hop Honors to the "Dirty South", Organized Noize, Jermaine Dupri, Timbaland, Uncle Luke, Master P and J Prince were treated with tribute performances. In addition to the individual accolades the program was broken down into regional honors as well, with performances paying homage to Atlanta, Miami and Texas.
